ENOC 19th Annual Conference on “Violence against Children”, Amsterdam
The 19th ENOC Annual Conference will take place on 22-23 September 2015 in De Rode Hoed (Congress Centre) in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
On 24 September 2015, ENOC will also hold its 19th General Assembly meeting in The Hague. This year’s host of ENOC’s annual events is the Dutch Ombudsman for Children, who on the same occasion will take up the ENOC Chairmanship for a one year term.
The Conference will focus on combatting violence against children and the role of ombudspersons for children in this area. Experts from the fields of science, public policy,charity and advocacy organizations will share their knowledge and experience with representatives of independent children’s rights institutions from 33 different European countries. Furthermore, ENOC members will have the opportunity to interchange best practices and share information on members’ activities and strategies on the conference theme and other subjects.
