ENOC 2025 Spring Seminar

26 - 27 May 2025

ENOC opened its 2025 annual theme, “The Protection and Promotion of Children’s Right to Physical Health” with a first round of discussions during a working session held on 26 May 2025. The session took place as part of the ENOC Spring Seminar in Luxembourg, on 26-27 May 2025.

The first day of the Seminar featured a learning café, offering ENOC members a space to exchange knowledge and experiences related to children’s physical health. During the session, ENOC’s 2024 expert, Prof. Rodica Gramma—Associate Professor at the SUMPh "Nicolae Testemitanu" University of Moldova—shared initial insights from the ENOC mapping survey on the topic.

The second day was organised in cooperation with the European Migration Network (EMN) Luxembourg and focused on guardianship and quality of care for asylum-seeking children within the context of the EU Pact on Migration and Asylum. The session included contributions from PICUM (Platform for International Cooperation on Undocumented Migrants) and the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Migration and Home Affairs, followed by a sharing of practices and experiences by several Ombudspersons for Children’s offices.
