ENOC/UNICEF Capacity Building Seminar for Independent Children’s Rights Institutions

Photo 2A joint ENOC-UNICEF one day capacity-building Seminar for Independent Children’s/Human Rights Institutions in Europe and Central Asia will take place on 16 May 2017 in Sofia, Bulgaria . The purpose of the Seminar is to provide assistance to newly established or newly appointed Ombudspersons for Children or similar institutions through the exchange of relevant information and experience by ENOC members to new ENOC members or external to ENOC organisations. ENOC member institutions are the main contributors in this activity. Ms. Vanessa Sedletzki, independent human/children’s rights expert will open the Seminar and introduce the main criteria and challenges for the establishment of Independent Children’s/Human Rights Institutions in Europe and beyond.

The Seminar is organised in collaboration with UNICEF Bulgaria, UNICEF Regional Office for Europe and Central Asia, and is kindly hosted by the Ombudsman of Republic of Bulgaria (George Washington str.22, 1202 Sofia, Bulgaria).
