ENOC 2018 capacity building session on “Methodologies & techniques to empower children’s participation in all settings”

In its efforts to strengthen the capacity of its member institutions and focusing on children and young people’s right to freely express their opinions and to participate in all decisions affecting them either directly or indirectly, ENOC is holding for a 2nd consecutive year, on 8 June 2018 in Dublin, Ireland, a full day capacity building session as part of ENOC’s annual spring Seminar. This year’s focus is on methodologies and techniques to empower children and young people’s participation in all settings. ENOC member institutions are the main contributors in this activity. Prof. Laura Lundy, Co-Director of the Centre for Children’s Rights and a Professor in the School of Social Sciences, Education and Social Work at Queen’s University, Belfast, will address the seminar participants and will talk about myths, truths and challenges surrounding children’s participation in decision-making.

The event is hosted by the Ombudsman for Children’s Office in Ireland.
